Still busy busy busy, just a quick post to let you know what I’ve been up too.
We had a nice, quite Thanksgiving at home this year. It was great to have a 4-day weekend to spend some time with the family and eat lot o’ turkey and stuffing. Though it still feels too early this year, I started putting up some Christmas lights on Sunday. Not much so far, just lining the driveway but this year I plan to get up on the roof to put up lights. I’ll likely post more on this in the next week or so. Also, though I swore against it after my first failed effort, I couldn’t resist building another computer. I had several components just sitting around so I bought a case, motherboard and cpu and tried again. While it appears I have a stable system, I’ll devote a seperate post to the numerous issues I had in the building process. Lastly, I’ve added a new shoutbox feature in the sidebar for anyone who enjoys making off-handed, pointless comments about whatever. Until next time…
Ok, I’ve been pretty busy lately and haven’t been able to post much. I wanted to take a quick moment to put the kid’s Halloween costume pics online. Sam was a great Superman. With his extra layer of clothes underneath it looked like we went with the more expensive, muscular version. Nick ended up being the Green Power Ranger as the store we went to was all out of Clone Trooper costumes. Taylor was a Geisha. Jenn actually bought a pattern and fabric and sewed her costume and it turned out very well.
This past Saturday we celebrated the birthdays of both Nick (Oct. 10th -turned 6) and Sam (Oct. 21st – turned 2). While only about half the kids were able to make it, it was a very lively scene and lots of fun.
