T-ball Season In Full Swing

Bad pun intended. Opening day for Nick’s T-ball league was last Saturday. Like last year, and probably every year, it was raining. Nick’s team didn’t have a game that day but we did have to stand in the rain for about an hour for the ceremony, speech by ex-Mariner, Bucky JAcobsen, and league picture. He also received his new uniform which consists of a yellow shirt and black cap that have the Tahoma Little League logo. His first game is scheduled for today at 6pm, weather permitting. Go Nick!! Go Pirates!!

    How’d the game go?

It went very well and he had fun. At this level of Little League, it isn’t competetive. They don’t keep track of strikes or outs. They play 3 innings and when each team is up to bat, they run through the entire lineup. I have pictures of his second game that I hope to post soon.

That’s gotta be fun. I look forward to when Caleb is old enough to play t-ball. Yet, at the same time I find myself not wanting the day to come around too soon. It seems like he’s reach 2 1/2 years WAY to quickly.

    Yeah it’s a blast!!

Nick’s much more interested this season and having fun. We’re looking forward to Little League night at Safeco on May 20th. His team (and parents) get discounted tickets to see the game and get to parade around Safeco field before the game. I’ll definately post after that event.
